The Casino & Hotel

A deco casino, behind a
landmark facade.

Forcefinale is a five-star casino hotel in the heart of Old Montreal, set behind a restored art-deco facade a block from the river. Inside, marble, brass and deep velvet frame a grand casino floor — seventy tables, private salons and hundreds of slot machines — beneath a ceiling of gilded light. It is a room that remembers how the game used to feel.

This is the offline casino at its most theatrical. Blackjack, roulette and baccarat are dealt across a grand parquet floor; craps and sic bo bring a little thunder; and the private Royale Salons keep higher stakes behind mahogany doors. Every table is dealt by professionals in the old style, with clear stakes and hosts who make a first visit feel like an occasion.

Around the gaming, the hotel keeps its grandeur: six restaurants and bars, a cigar-and-cognac lounge, a deco ballroom for the late show and a spa beneath the vaults. An evening at the Belmont can be all casino or barely any — the old quarter, and the choice, are yours.

The Belmont Experience

An offline casino, in the grand old style.

There is a difference between a casino on a screen and a casino you walk into beneath a gilded ceiling. At the Belmont, the casino floor is a room you can feel — the weight of the chips, the spin of the wheel, the hush of a full house on a Saturday night. This is a land-based casino built for people who want the ceremony, not just the game.

The gaming is broad and classic. Sit down at blackjack and play a shoe, watch the run at baccarat, or step up to a high-limit table in the Royale Salons. In the poker room, cash games and tournaments run every night; along the walls, hundreds of slot machines and electronic terminals gleam in brass. Every casino game is posted with clear stakes, and hosts are on hand to teach anyone new.

The Belmont is a casino hotel in the truest sense — you never have to leave. Play late, dine in the grand manner, take a cognac in the cigar lounge and sleep in a heritage suite above the old quarter. In the heart of Old Montreal, a block from the river and the cobbles, it turns a night at the tables into a proper grand escape.

And because a great casino looks after its guests, responsible play is built into every table. Set your limits, take a break, or ask a host for a quiet word at any time. Forcefinale is strictly 21+, with photo ID checked at the door — a grand, grown-up room where the game stays a pleasure.
